Commissions are sent to your email inbox through Tremendous. You can choose to receive them as cash, a prepaid digital Visa card, or a gift card.

Commissions are held for 60 days from the date the referred order is delivered, to allow for returns, cancellations and fraud review. Once that period has passed, the commission is included in the next monthly payout, which is sent within the first 5 business days of the month. Commissions on orders that are returned, refunded, cancelled or charged back within the hold period are void.

Yes. Our fraud team monitors the program to make sure all referrals are legitimate. We reserve the right to revoke affiliate status at any time, for any reason, and any unpaid earnings may be forfeited.

Commissions on sales referred by coupon or discount aggregator sites will not be paid. If our fraud team detects your code on these sites, you may be removed from the program at our discretion.

We know that codes can sometimes end up on aggregator sites for reasons outside your control. If your account has been suspended and you'd like us to review it, please email help@seidoknives.com and we'll look into the matter.

Your link and code will generally stay the same for as long as you're in the program. If we make any changes to the program or to your link or code, we'll email you with instructions. If you can't find our email, please check your spam folder.

General

We reserve the right to remove any affiliate, and void their referrals, at any time without prior notice. If we suspect fraud, commissions will only be paid after we've verified the referrals.

Eligibility

Affiliates must be at least 18 years old and live in a country where Tremendous payouts are available, excluding countries subject to US or Canadian sanctions.

Qualifying Orders

To earn a commission, the referred customer must be new to Seido Knives and place an order of at least $40 before discounts, excluding taxes and shipping. Self-referrals, including orders placed by you or for your own household, are not permitted and will not earn a commission. Affiliate codes cannot be combined with other discount codes or promotions.

Commission Holds and Reversals

Commissions are held for 60 days after the referred order is delivered. Commissions on orders that are returned, refunded, cancelled or charged back during that period are void.

Attribution

If a customer uses more than one affiliate link or code, the commission goes to the affiliate whose link or code was used at checkout.

Paid Search and Brand Bidding

Affiliates may not bid on "Seido," "Seido Knives," or any misspelling, variation or combination of our brand name as a keyword on Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, or any other paid search or shopping ad platform. This includes broad, phrase and exact match keywords. Affiliates also may not use our brand name in ad copy or display URLs, or register domain names or social media accounts containing it. Any such activity is a violation of this program and will result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of all unpaid commissions.

Spam and Coupon Sites

Spamming or mass-distributing your link or code will result in immediate removal from the program without payment. This includes posting your code on coupon or discount aggregator sites.

Disclosure

You must clearly disclose your relationship with Seido Knives whenever you promote our products, for example with #ad, #affiliate, or "I earn a commission from this link." This is required under FTC guidelines in the US and Competition Bureau guidelines in Canada.

Content Standards

Do not make false or misleading claims about our products. Do not present our knives as weapons or direct your promotions at anyone under 18. You may use Seido product images and our logo only as provided to you through the program, and you may not present yourself as Seido Knives or as speaking on our behalf.

Brand Reputation

Any action intended to disrupt or undermine the program, including disparaging or maligning the Seido Knives brand on social media or elsewhere, will result in immediate removal from the program without payment.

Taxes

You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed on your affiliate earnings.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. We'll notify affiliates of significant changes by email, and continuing in the program after an update means you accept the new terms.
