Easy to use knife sharpener

This sharpener is very easy to use and does a great job at sharpening knives without the need to use a honing rode or wet stone which can be challenging (at least for me it is). I like the fact that it has many grind settings for various blades. Highly recommend!

As advertised!

Just received my 3 stage knife sharpener and immediately put it to work. Upon opening the box I was looking for user instructions that were not present. This was easily overcome by going to the Seido website where I found detailed instructions and user tips. I have an older inexpensive chef knife that I was able to sharpen to UNIMAGINABLE razor like levels in minutes! I could literally take a single piece of 8x10 copy paper in one hand and the knife in the other and shred the sheet with a single pass. I was so impressed that I went back to the website and ordered a new Seido chef’s knife. If I can sharpen an older inexpensive knife to that level I can only imagine what’s possible with a current state of the art Seido chef’s knife!
