I have large hands and this Cleaver fits easily. It is light enough to be agile yet heavy enough to be effective. Even if you have small hands it will still be very ergonomic. A beautiful and very sharp blade and it's very well balanced. The sheath is also beautiful. I will be using it in the kitchen as well as camping and backpacking. A great purchase for a lifelong cleaver!

1-Mark the grind marks along the edge 2-diminish grind marks with med grit stone. 3-polish very edge with hard Arkansas stone 4-finish polish with leather strop and fine clay. G10 scales would enhance and improve grip and add value.

It took a couple weeks to arrive but wow it was really worth the wait. I was very impressed with the quality of the knife it is extremely sharp and well made. I was skeptical about ordering it first but I know I will order more now

So I wasn’t happy the cleaver/knife came in only it’s leather sheath wrapped in bubble wrap in postal bag; but I cleaned it as per instructions and used it immediately to prepare a delicious meal with meat and veggies and low and behold, the knife felt amazing in my hand and is sharp as a razor. I cut through beef and chicken like butter. I sliced whole tomatoes like nothing else I have experienced before.
Time will tell how long this knife will hold up but so far it’s an amazing experience for me! I have always wanted a superior knife to feel like a chef and affordable.

Another excellent knife that does a great job at cutting. I own a few of the seido knvies and I love them all. This knife is original, has a nice feel to it and cuts exceptionally well. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something different to use in their kitchen.
